What is Ultrasonic Sewing — Double Feed

Ultrasonic sewing for heavy, dense materials

The Viking do Brasil Ultrasonic Sewing Machine — Double Feed uses a dual-wheel feeding system that grips the material at two simultaneous points during welding.

This system ensures greater feeding precision and prevents the material from slipping — essential for thicker, multilayer or heavier fabrics, which tend to slip in single-feed machines.

The result is a seam with high alignment and uniformity, even on dense materials such as tarps, covers and multilayer structures — with no thread, needle or glue.

How it works

  1. 1

The generator converts electrical energy into high-frequency mechanical vibration (ultrasound)

  2. 2

The material is guided by two feed wheels, which grip the fabric at two points

  3. 3

This dual support prevents slipping, even on heavy or multilayer materials

  4. 4

Molecular friction fuses the layers with high uniformity along the seam

  5. 5

Clean, aligned finish, ready for immediate use — no needle holes
