Our history

40+ years developing industrial ultrasonic technology

Since 1980, Viking do Brasil has developed and manufactured industrial ultrasonic machines in Brazil. Our first machine was the Ultrasonic Drill, created for precision drilling of precious stones — and over more than four decades, we’ve expanded ultrasonic technology into new production sectors.

In the 2000s, we launched the Ultrasonic Sewing line for synthetic materials, and in the 2010s we developed the Ultrasonic Spot Welder. During the pandemic, our machines played a key role in manufacturing surgical masks and hospital mattress covers, helping meet urgent demand in the healthcare sector. More recently, in the 2020s, we expanded our line with Viking PoliWeld, for thermoplastic welding, and the Industrial Ultrasonic Homogenizer, aimed at bioproduct processing.

With our own factory in Minas Gerais, we manufacture equipment with domestic components, which ensures controlled quality, fast technical support and competitive prices. Over the years, we’ve expanded our reach to serve customers in every Brazilian state, and today we also export to several countries in Latin America — such as Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Colombia —, in Europe — such as Portugal, Spain and Italy — and even to the Middle East.

Manufacturers, not resellers

Unlike resellers of imported equipment, Viking do Brasil designs and manufactures its own machines in Minas Gerais. That means every piece of equipment is developed with deep knowledge of Brazilian production processes — and technical support comes directly from the manufacturer, with no middlemen.
